Keller offers an extensive park trail system throughout its rambling, engaging and diverse neighborhoods. Ranked # 50 in Money magazine's top 100 places to live in the US, a distinction not shared by any of its neighboring communities, the award was based on low crime rates, access to excellent recreation, park and trial systems and a good variety of housing opportunities. For similar reasons D Magazine named Keller the 9th best Dallas-Ft Worth community in 2008.
Keller parks, covering 426 acres, 11 different park sites and 90 undeveloped acres, enhance the quality of life and create a feeling of open spaces. Full of bike trails, a favorite along Bear Creek is shared by a few longhorns!
Keller has held the Tree City USA designation for 15 years. Tree City USA is sponsored by the Arbor Day Foundation in cooperation with the Forest Service organizations. It provides guidance and recognition for communities that invest in their trees.
Keller's Town Center, new in 2004, is expanding with the new ArtHouse, a tr?s chic retail area featuring galleries, glass art and residential space with lofts.

Keller's population has grown 7.5% a year since 1990 to 38,000 in 2008, making it the largest of its surrounding communities. Family-friendly Keller boasts the lowest median age of the surrounding communities and caters to the one income family.
Most homes range from the low $100,000's to $500,000 and the market has historically shown good growth in value. There is plenty of new construction available toward the west. Still charming and rustic, a "Goats for Sale" sign was just down the street from $800,000, 5000 square feet homes in Tuscany!
